Superior Wrecker Service was started in Houston Texas by John Payette in 1991. John had 9 years of towing, and mechanical experience including 4 years in the USAF as a Mechanic & Air Cargo Handler in the Combat Mobility Branch of the 43rd Aerial Port Squadron Aerial Delivery Section Stationed in San Bernardino CA and 5 Years of towing experience in The City of Houston.
In 5 short years Superior Wrecker Service grew to 9 trucks, 10 drivers and 3 dispatchers. This was the direct result of the excellent customer service when Euna Payette took over dispatch and office duties at the company. Euna has 30 years of customer service, administrative and trouble shooting experience from companies such as Burroughs Computers, PP&G, Omega Optical and Apex Business Systems. John Payette became Certified by TRAA as a Light Duty Tower and was recognized as a Pioneer Tower for being one of the first Towers in the Country to be Certified by the TRAA. Later John was tested Certified by the TRAA as a Master Tower and was one of only 10 in the State of Texas. This was in addition to being tested and certified along with Euna Payette for Towing and Recovery by Wreckmasters. John is board member of The Houston Professional Towing Association as well as a Region 5 Board Member for Southwest Tow Operators
With all this experience and a fleet of modern versatile equipment and top notch drivers it wasn't long before they started receiving awards for excellent service from the National Motor clubs including the prestigious ACE Award given to the top 1% of the towing companies as voted on by all of the motor clubs in the USA. Superior Wrecker Service is still providing top notch service 17 years later with a modern fleet of GPS tracked towing vehicles dispatched by Euna Payette via the Internet and In-Towmanger Computer Software for the ultimate in call tracking and dispatch efficiency.
Superior Wrecker is now primarily focusing on servicing the publics towing needs referred to them by current customers and by advertising in AT&T Yellow Pages and yellowpages.com as well as new car dealers including Momentum BMW West Body Shop, Sterling McCall Acura & Volvo's of Houston. Superior Wrecker Service services over 120 Independent and Franchised repair facilities in the West and Southwest areas of Houston. New customers are always welcome.
